The never-ending dinner party continues! The invitation--it's stamped!! The monkey is
from the Sock Monkey Stampin' Up set. I colored in the monkey with SU markers. The first dinner party date got canceled due to another conflict so here is what I came up with to let everyone know of the new date.

Simple stamping for a set of fun friends stationery. I love
this penguin from the Wild About You SU set--actually I love all of the animals in the set. But the penguin is a symbol of my husband's profession. it was
particularly fun to stamp the animals in pink for a more girly twist!

A simple AND quick party favor....a Hershey Nugget Purse! I made these as a thank you gift for my friend who is a handbag designer but they could also be used as favors for a wedding, bridal shower or made to look like diaper bags for a baby shower. The base of the purse is made using a scrap of 1 1/2 by 4 1/2 inch cardstock. I used a SU roller stamp that was part of a hostess stamp set for the background I wanted to keep the
overall design clean and simple, but thought it needed a little
something extra, so I added floral brads as the "buckle". The back of the "buckle" has velcro adhesive so the purse can be opened and closed.

I've been busy gazing into the cutest, sweetest little pair of chocolate brown
eyes belonging to this little Mexican Hot Dog, Delilah. How
could I have a little doggy that looks like this and not give her an appropriate name? Awww... I just love her!
I think the camera was putting her to sleep...that or she is stoned.
Spring is the time for weddings, which means showers and gifts. Which of course, means cute little gift cards. Sometimes I make them a standard 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 card size, but lately, I'm quite taken by the smaller 3 x 3
cards or other sizes created with random pieces from my scrap basket. This was a simple, but elegant design I stamped recently. You can use an envelope which are available at just the right size from Stampin' Up or perhaps your local craft supply store. Or you can tuck
it just under the ribbon on
the gift--artwork front & center, the perfect finishing touch!
