I created this sample to demonstrate why I now love to use my Copic markers.
The samples of red and blue on the left was colored with a brush-type marker. Brand is not important because I find they all color pretty much the same way.
The image on the right is colored with Copic markers. I did not retouch the photo. Can you see how even the color is? Fabulous!!!
Brush-type markers are great for stampers - and I would never get rid of my set. They are perfect for inking your stamps and also coloring small spaces.
For coloring in larger spaces though, you simply must try Copic markers. Although they are pricier than brush markers (I have heard upwards of $7.00 a marker), I got mine at Amuse Art Stamps. A set of 12 sells for $64.88. I got Linda's Essential Set to start (they were out of Lipstick Red but substituted this beautiful Crimson) and can't wait to learn more about these wonderful pens!
